REPORTS TO: PRESIDENT
Purpose: As
a member of the Legend Resorts Ltd. executive team the Director
of Development will be responsible for current real estate
projects as well as identifying and assessing new development
opportunities.
Job responsibilities will
include but are not limited to:
- Long term planning
- Masterplan development
- Land planning and
approval
- New product development
- Architectural and
Engineering coordination
- Construction quality assurance
- Formulation
of and adherence to pre-approved budgets
- Formulation of and
adherence to pre-determined development schedules
- Analyze
contracts, proposals, and specifications
- Development variance
reporting
- Develop and maintain excellence in customer
service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial and Residential construction experience
- Project
Management experience
- Construction Management and/or Business
and/or Engineering Degree
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to manage
numerous projects in varying stages of completion with flawless
attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office including comprehensive
knowledge in Excel and Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Tact and diplomacy,
in dealing with a variety of work situations, staff, executive
team,
- Canadian and US government representatives,
current prospective owners
- Ability to work in a team environment
while supporting and working with organization members
that are geographically dispersed

MANAGER, SUNDANCE RESORT
LOCATION: BIG WHITE SKI RESORT, KELOWNA,
BC

REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER OF LEGEND
RESORTS MANAGEMENT
Legend Resort Management Ltd. is seeking an exceptional, service
driven individual to lead the operation of SunDance at Big White
Ski Resort.
This central operations role requires a seasoned, hands-on,
service-oriented hospitality professional. The primary responsibilities
will be but are not limited to:

Ensure the success of a 100+ unit, full-service condo hotel
and resort property
-
Create a people centered environment focused on service delivery
-
Develop and implement initial and annual operating plans
including financial forecasts, service strategies and operations
delivery
-
Create, implement and continuously improve systems, standards
and processes for resort management, measurement and control
-
Prepare, provide and respond to ongoing financial and marketing
information
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships and positive communications
with guests, owners, management, employees, Big White Ski Resort,
etc
-
Build, engage and retain a strong service oriented team and
create a positive work environment

Work collaboratively with the executive and other managers
to deliver out mission and achieve our vision

Anticipate Challenges and opportunities and develop and implement
innovative solutions for them
-
Deliver operational results in the business of delivering
exceptional resort experiences by maximizing revenue and minimizing
costs

Manage all aspects of the daily operations of SunDance to
deliver exceptional experiences for Guests, Owners, Employees
and other Stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- 5-10 years hotel and resort management experience
- Experience in managing strata/condo resorts
- Proven success in delivering financial results
- Proven knowledge and experience in financial management and
control
- Marketing and Sales experience
- RDP and reservation software experience
- Proficient with current technology, including Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Excel, Word) and property management and control
systems
